This Privacy Policy explains how DigitalMunchers (“we”, “us”) handles personal information when you visit digitalmunchers.com or contact us through it. We aim to process personal information in line with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) of the Philippines.

Who we are

DigitalMunchers is a web design, WordPress support, and digital marketing business based in Consolacion, Cebu, Philippines. We operate this website and decide how information submitted through it is used. For any privacy question or request, email us at .

Information we collect

Information you submit. When you send an inquiry through our contact form, we receive:

  • your name;
  • your email address;
  • your company or website (optional);
  • the service you are interested in;
  • your approximate budget (optional); and
  • your message.

Please do not include sensitive personal information (such as health, financial account, or government ID details) in your message.

Limited technical and security information. To protect the form from abuse and keep the website working, we also process:

  • Rate-limit data: your IP address is used to count recent form submissions. We store only a keyed one-way hash of it, together with a counter, and that record deletes itself automatically after 15 minutes.
  • Security and diagnostic logs: our application logs record events such as a rejected or failed submission, with a short-lived pseudonymous identifier derived from your IP address. They do not contain your message or email address. Our hosting infrastructure may also keep standard web server logs (for example IP address, requested page, date and time, and browser type).
  • Verification data: the contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that submissions come from a person. Cloudflare processes technical information from your browser and device to do this; we receive only the verification outcome and related technical details (such as the website hostname and time of the check).

This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.

How we use information

  • to answer your inquiry and communicate with you about it;
  • to prepare a quote or proposal you have asked for;
  • to prevent spam and abuse and to secure the contact form; and
  • to diagnose and fix errors in our website and services.

Sending an inquiry does not subscribe you to newsletters or marketing messages. We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers and sharing

We share information only with providers that help us run this website and respond to you:

  • Cloudflare (Turnstile) for bot and abuse protection on the contact form. See Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy notice.
  • Google (Gmail) to deliver inquiries to our mailbox and store them there.
  • Our hosting provider, whose servers (managed with Plesk) run this website, its rate-limiting service, and its logs.

Some images on our homepage are loaded from Unsplash’s image servers, which receive standard request information such as your IP address. If you follow a link to WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook, LinkedIn, or another external site, that service’s own privacy policy applies.

We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights, users, or systems.

International processing

Our service providers may process information on servers outside the Philippines. Where this happens, we rely on providers that apply their own safeguards to protect personal information.

How long we keep information

  • Contact inquiries may be kept for up to 24 months after our last meaningful interaction with you, unless we need them longer for an active engagement, a legal obligation, a dispute, or legitimate business recordkeeping.
  • Rate-limit records expire automatically after 15 minutes.
  • Security and diagnostic logs are kept only as long as operationally necessary.

Security

We use reasonable organizational, physical, and technical measures to protect personal information. For example, submissions are validated on our server, protected against automated abuse, and sent to our mailbox over an authenticated, encrypted connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have the right to:

  • be informed about how your personal information is processed;
  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • object to processing;
  • have inaccurate or incomplete information corrected (rectification);
  • have your information erased or blocked, subject to legal limits;
  • obtain your information in a portable format, where applicable; and
  • file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.

Children’s privacy

This website is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
