Position: Remote Project Manager – App Development and Online Gaming
Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of app development and online gaming projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, QA testers, and stakeholders, to define project goals, requirements, and deliverables.
• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, assigning tasks, allocating resources, and conducting risk assessments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Utilize various project management methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum, to streamline workflows and meet project objectives efficiently.
• Maintain regular and transparent communication with stakeholders and team members, providing project updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
• Implement effective remote communication strategies, utilizing collaboration tools like Slack, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams to facilitate seamless communication and coordination.
• Utilize project management software and tools to track progress, monitor tasks, and ensure adherence to project timelines.
• Proactively identify and resolve project roadblocks, conflicts, and issues, keeping projects on track and driving successful outcomes.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork, knowledge sharing, and innovation among remote team members.
• Conduct post-project evaluations, gather feedback, and implement process improvements based on lessons learned.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Project Manager, specifically in app development and/or online gaming projects.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively, taking ownership of projects and driving them to successful completion.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycles and project management methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
• Proficiency in remote collaboration tools and project management software.
• Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a remote work setup.
• Experience working in a remote or distributed team is a plus.
